I am currently accepting students of all skill levels over Skype/Facetime or in person in the Austin, Texas area.
I tailor each individual drum lesson to fit the needs of my students and work very hard to make the lessons both educational and fun. I am passionate about music and education, and I devote all of my energy to create a positive and exciting learning environment for all my students.
I work on all aspects of the drums and focus on achieving the goals that I set with the students. I teach them how to read drum music and rhythms and work on the rudimental aspect of the drums. I also have students play along to music that they enjoy and teach them the skills needed to be able to improvise and create drum grooves and rhythms of their own.
I am a member of the Vic Firth Education team and have the training and resources needed to teach the students what they want to learn while teaching proper techniques and motions to ensure that no one gets hurt!
