Relics

 Relics is a video game concept album done in collaboration with Diligence Studio artist Stuart Wade. Relics follows the story of a bustling civilization that falls to corruption from within only to find serenity and renewed life amongst nature and the relics of the ruined city. Below is each track paired with its respective artwork.

Ch 1. Another World

Another World introduces us to the multiple moving pieces found in this society and introduces some of the themes that can be heard throughout the entire album.

Ch 2. Metropolis

Metropolis shows the civilization in peak productivity. Moving pieces everywhere and lives intertwined create the bustling empire.

Ch 3. There is Darkness Among Them

Corruption is creeping up from within the civilization and is rapidly spreading. This corruption shows no signs of slowing and if left unchecked will take over.

Ch 4. Calm Before

It is quiet.. A little too quiet. The corruption has spread to the highest peaks of society and the pending battle on the horizon leaves everyone with a sense of unease mixed with a strange feeling of serenity.

Ch 5. Eradication

The hour of battle is at hand but the corruption is simply too much. The entire civilization as we know it has been destroyed. Once the smoke clears, a calmness takes over the still ruins of a once powerful metropolis

Ch 6. Siren

The ruins are at a state of peace, the corruption was halted the second the city fell. Now nature can heal as it always does and forge a new world.

Ch 7. Thrive

The forces of nature not only survive amidst chaos, they thrive. Life is growing at a rapid pace.

Ch 8. History Repeats

Life is growing and thriving in the ruins of the ancient civilization but the corruption has started return amidst the relics of the past. Is history truly doomed to repeat itself?

Ch 9. Perseverance

The final battle between nature and corruption is upon us. The forces of pure nature are successful in repelling the corruption and life is able to continue to flourish amidst these ruins that have been lost to time.
